This peaberry lot is sourced from smallholder farmers across Tanzania’s southern highlands, where producers cultivate a mix of traditional varieties. Peaberries, which are naturally occurring single rounded seeds, are carefully sorted from multiple washing stations to create this unique blend. Farmers harvest ripe cherry and deliver it daily for processing, where coffee is depulped, fermented, washed, and dried on raised beds. Known for their rarity and distinct shape, peaberries are often prized for their concentrated and expressive cup profiles.
